Making Disciples

Go and make disciples...this is perhaps the most important aspect of living out your faith as a Christian. Abby and I are blessed to have been trained and equiped by some amazing people to carry out this mission. Here in Mexico we are finding opportunities to meet with and disciple others using the Aletheia model. We are also fortunate to be learning some new discipleship material from Steve that we will be able to use in our future ministry! I have begun meeting with two guys to go through the Aletheia Discipleship Course, which has been a good challenge for me to do in Spanish. In addition to our language classes at OLE, Abby who is already fluent, has begun taking a class at the Universidad Autonomus de Queretaro where she is quickly building some friendships among the students in her class. Meeting and talking with students has not been too difficult, taking the next step towards real friendship and getting them to come to a Bible study has been the challenge. We have found that in general students schedules here are not as open as those of students in the US, but God is good, and we are trusting in Him to continue to lead our ministry!

Please continue to pray for us:
Mark's Spanish speaking abilities
For Abby to have opportunities to share the message through her new friendships
For God to move in the lives of the students here
For our director Steve Young as he guides the student ministry in Queretaro and all of Mexico.
