Tonight Mark and I rang in the New Year with our Aletheia Church family. We started off the party by taking some time to talk with God. He is our awesome redeemer, provider, and sustainer. We're open to whatever God has for us in 2009 - we just want to give Him the glory that He deserves and spread the good news. Isn't it awesome that because we have Christ in our lives, we can have a fun New Year's party with none of the destruction caused by drunkenness and promiscuity, etc.? What's more, God gives us peace, joy and the hope to overcome any obstacle in life. Thanks God.
