Merry Christmas

Wow! Christmas lasted five days in Mark and Abby world. On Christmas Eve we celebrated with the Huffmans at Papaw's house, then on Christmas Day we celebrated with the Sharpes and later with Granny B, then the day after Christmas we opened gifts with Mark's family, then on Saturday we finished up our Christmas shopping and went bowling with Abby's family, and finally on Sunday we ate a Christmas feast and opened gifts with Abby's family! Phew! It was great fun, and we got some awesome gifts - a camera, some itunes, and even new socks and toothbrushes. Notice that Mark got his dad a rusty old tractor seat for Christmas (the missionary budget is pretty tight). The best part of our Christmas break (besides cuddling with Kristy and Rich's cat Romeo) has been spending time with God, family and friends! It's great to wake up and spend some time in the word and even break out the guitar and worship a little bit. Seeing "long lost" friends and family has been a real blessing too. We also have another holiday coming up - we're looking forward to our 2 year anniversary, which is on Dec. 30th! Yay! We hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
