We've made it...after much thinking, applying, praying, training and traveling we are now in Mexico! We arrived after a very smooth trip in Mexico City on Friday evening and stayed the night at a missionary house in the city (after getting our first taste of the local flair at Arcos, a taco restaurant). Mexico city is huge and we only saw a part of it. After a nice lunch with some other missionaries we headed to Queretaro. I was excited to get my first driving experience in Mexico City and had fun weaving in and out from between buses and cars. Queretaro is where our directors the Young's live. It is a city of 1 million with a really cool colonial Spanish downtown. We have enjoyed hanging out there. We are working on setting up our tiny apartment, learning our way around the city, and have begun classes at OLE, our language school. Please pray that I can learn the language quickly and well, for safety as we drive, and for opportunities to share the love of Christ with those around us!
